Thank You Lord!

This morning I fell down and broke two bones in my wrist. (Ouch!)

The trauma that ensued from that moment was frightening.  I couldn’t drive, I was alone and in severe pain. My husband and daughter were both at work. Due to the nature of their jobs, I was  not able to call them.  So, I started walking to the doctor’s surgery hanging on to my arm.  By then my wrist looked deformed and swollen.

Everyday my husband calls me at 1.30 PM from work. That’s when he has his lunch break. Today he called me at 12.50 PM as I was making my way to the doctor.  Why?, for today only they changed his lunch break.

My husband arrived within an hour. X-Ray revealed the severe damaged. But praise God I had my husband to drive to the physiotherapist to have it attended to.

I am in pain, yes!   But knowing that our God is control fills me with joy and peace.

I am so thankful is the left wrist.   We fly to New Zealand in two weeks, I am so thankful I don’t need surgery or our pre paid holiday (vacation), would’ve been forfeited. Most of all I am so grateful that the Lord said. “ I will never leave you nor forsake you “.

“Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever, For wisdom and power belong to Him.”

‭‭DANIEL‬ ‭2:20‬ ‭

Sovereign!! Yes Lord!! And when we see it and testify of it, God uses it! Praying that this short, yet powerful message speaks to someone! It reminded me that God’s got this!!!

    1. I am grateful we can encourage one another Terri . Our Lord Is good. An X-ray showed my wrist is worse. Seeing a specialist tomorrow.
I was encouraged by this. Hope it encourages you too:
God’s sovereignty is not the sovereignty of a tyrannical Despot, but the exercised pleasure of One who is infinitely wise and good!
Because God is infinitely wise, He cannot err.
Because He is infinitely righteous, He will not do wrong.
Here then is the preciousness of this truth. The mere fact itself that God’s will is irresistible and irreversible fills me with fear–but once I realize that God wills only that which is good, my heart is made to rejoice.

  3. I’m so sorry I missed this, Crissy. My sabbatical has taken me away far too long. I’m praying for you, Sister. I’m so glad God worked out the circumstances for your husband to be there for and with you. God bless.
